Doris Dillon School is a nonprofit school which was built in rural Cambodia off of funds raised over many years. Since its opening in 2019, JAW has held numerous fundraisers in support of Doris Dillon School. The funds go toward the renovating the school and buying supplies for the students (including sanitary pads). We organized a group volunteer visit to the school in Cambodia in February of 2023 to visit the school we had been financially supporting and to teach various subjects to the students and teachers, such as health, puberty, CPR, computers, english, women empowerment, and more! LifeMoves is a shelter which provides homeless families with housing and other supportive services. During the Covid-19 pandemic, JAW held a campaign called Lunches for LifeMoves, in which we were able to donate $1640 to the shelter. With this money, LifeMoves was able to provide its struggling residents with nutritious meals during the pandemic.

During the holiday season of 2021, JAW started a campaign called Holiday Hustle. We collected over 200 donations of warm garments such as sweaters, jackets, hats, gloves, blankets, and more. These donations were given to HomeFirst, a nonprofit organization which provides shelter and other services to the homeless. HomeFirst distributed these warm garments to those who needed it the most.

Through fundraisers, JAW was able to raise a lot of money for Water1st, an international nonprofit organization which provides clean water to homes, schools, clinics, and other places that do not have clean water. We were able to support communities in Ethiopia, Bangladesh, and Honduras!

During the holiday season of 2022, JAW held its annual winter campaign again. We collected a large amount of donations of warm garments such as sweaters, jackets, hats, gloves, blankets, and more. These donations were given to The Salvation Army USA, a nonprofit organization which provides shelter and other services to the homeless.
